Notes on book formats

There are two kinds of Adobe e-book files:

Adobe PDF file: The file download version is a full PDF file. It includes high-resolution images and is printable. This is currently the version I use for my books on Lulu. This format will work on all devices that support the PDF file format.  

Adobe Digital Editions: This format uses a fixed page format. It is not a flowing text format such as HTML or Kindle eBook reader. It is not printable. This format will work on eBook readers that include Adobe Digital Editions. This is not a standard PDF. This is currently not the version used for my e-book files on Lulu.
